How can anyone explain or express a life-changing experience such as the ESL academy, which is what it has become for many of the state school teacher attendants this summer during the 12 days of its duration?  Probably we could get an idea by listening to what many of these wonderful teachers have to say after being exposed to leading edge presenters in their field of education, which also happens to be their passion, and  wisdom.

As the presenter responsible for the introduction of technology in the ESL classroom, I am one of the fortunate professionals who gets a chance to be exposed to one of the most magnificent selective groups of professionals ever: passionate and dedicated teachers to their students.

At the end of the academy I am both; physically tired from the intense travel and demanding schedule, and exulted by the level of passionate devotion that I experience from this marvelous group of truly great teachers.  I know that if I had to turn around and repeat the same service I would do it without a moment's hesitation.  The rewarding experience of seeing every bit of my love for my art and craft be taken in, absorbed, and demonstrated right in front of me, lets me know that as long as we have teachers like these, we can make education in America the best in the world again.

The support given to these precious professionals through this ESL academy program, thanks to the wisdom of our Arkansas  Department of Education leaders who have supported Dr. Andre' Guerrero in developing this program, have given the public teachers in Arkansas an opportunity to show us that with the proper tools we can become a leading state in ESL.
