International students from The Center for Language Proficiency at Henderson State University (HSU) visit New Orleans as part of their study of American Culture. PAGE ONE!!!!!!!!!! |

Planning, preparation in great detail, and lots of thought finally meet the moment of action!

A rainy start that remained present for the whole day.

...and lending itself to creative approaches to picture taking.

Some times was hard to stay in convoy.
One time we lost contact with each other.

A stop for lunch brought our energy to take the road again into more rain.

...and so we did...
...hit the road again!

Finally with the rainy drive behind us...

...we discuss the plans for the evening.
We head out to a great dinner experience!

At Boutin's we went for food and great Cajun music!
Everyone was happy.
From many parts of the world...
came together at HSU...

...a group of students and staff...
...to create a multi-cultural family...

We enjoyed food and song.

...and dance!

...and posing for a group picture so we always
will remember our Henderson family days!
Even the photographer got in the picture too!

Teachers be teachers!! Boutin's displays large boards with a chronologic condensed history of the Cajuns. The facts are really interesting. If you left-click anywhere in the picture above you can find out why Julia and Christine are so animated over the history facts shown in the display.
